About This Network

Most software categories are too small for the big review platforms to cover well. The Orbator research network builds a dedicated directory for each of those micro-verticals instead: one focused site, researched in depth, kept current. Every property in the network shares the same backend, the same research process, and the same editorial rules — but each is its own directory with its own data, rankings, and editorial voice.

The network is operated by Orbator. Properties are added when a vertical is underserved, and a property that stops earning its keep is frozen as a static archive rather than padded with filler content.

Every listing across the network is built on the same sourced-data contract:

• Every fact carries a source. Pricing, features, and ratings are recorded with the URL they were verified against; entries that can't be sourced are rejected, not guessed at.
• Verify-and-skip. Vendors that are dead, acquired, or have pivoted out of the vertical are dropped from the directory — we never invent a profile to pad a list.
• Freshness over volume. Listings show when they were last verified, and corrections from vendors and users are welcomed on every profile.

• Rankings are decided by editorial score only — no vendor can pay for position on any site in the network, ever.
• Affiliate and sponsor relationships are always labeled and never influence ratings or order.
• Each property publishes its full ranking criteria on its own methodology page.
